THE BALLPARK 

The Ballpark neighborhood's evolution from an industrial district to a vibrant residential and commercial area reflects the growth and transformation of Salt Lake City itself.

 

Our neighborhood runs from 700 South and 2100 South from Interstate 15 to State Street.  We are a unique neighborhood with a mix of bungalows and older single family homes, new modern apartment buildings, residential, major commercial and even manufacturing.

 

But what makes the Ballpark truly special are the people who live here.

• We are one of the most racially and economically diverse neighborhood in Salt Lake, and always have been. All are welcome here.

• We are caring. We know and care for each other. Our dogs are friends, and we are too. 

• We are progressive.  We reject the old narrative that we are a crime-ridden place in people pass through on their way to somewhere else. We know better, and every day more people do too. We are a place of positivity and possibility

• We are happening! The Ballpark is fast -- some might say too fast -- becoming the place to live. New developments, bars, eateries and small businesses are popping up. Come enjoy and add to our neighborhood!
